    SUN & SPRUCE SOAPS

    Sun & Spruce Soaps is a Roanoke, Virginia based small batch soap company established in 2020 by husband & wife team Krissy & Wes Reynolds. The dream began with Wes’ love of handmade soap & became a reality after deciding to start the company while hiking among the spruce trees in West Virginia. Our mission is to create soaps with unique smells, inspired by nature. Sun & Spruce Soaps are cold processed in small batches using recipes that make both the bars & smells last while still giving amazing lather & moisture. We strive to always use ethically sourced oils, essential oils, flora & other ingredients. Everything is handmade with love.

    It's hard to know what ingredients are in the candles and melts you burn in your home. At Around Ashley's Table Candle Shop, we hand pour our candles and wax melts with high quality, cleaner ingredients that you can feel good about having in your home.

    We have been making and testing candles for over 5 years to find the best combination of ingredients and performance. This started out as a desire to create cleaner candles for our family without compromising performance. Our mission has spread beyond our family to help others struggling to find better candles and melts.

    Around Ashely’s Table Candle Shop was established in 2020 and our candles & wax melts are hand poured in our home in Roanoke, Virginia. Ingredients are important to our family and to our business. We use 100% natural soy wax and phthalate-free fragrance oil in all of our products. We worry about what’s in each candle so that you don’t have to!

    WOODWORKER

    Daniel McQuade is a native WV woodworking artist who is also a professional photographer. It was several years into his photo career, and a move halfway across the country, that he discovered woodworking. Over time his work has evolved into several series of pieces that range from large scale bedroom furniture and wall art to smaller scale ornaments and even fridge magnets. After the eventual move back to his home state of WV, he is fortunate to be able to pursue his woodworking full time out of a dedicated woodworking studio. Being surrounded by WV’s natural beauty has supplied endless inspiration for new bodies of work, both mountain themed and otherwise.

    WAX MELTOLOGY

    Hello! I am Monique, I am the proud owner of Wax Meltology! I’ve always loved all things that smell amazing, especially candles. So, that's why I decided to create my own, clean burning candles, wax melts, and room sprays. I use a Coconut Apricot luxury blend wax, which is better for you and better for your home. Coconut Apricot luxury blend wax minimizes the amount of soot that is created from some of your typical store-bought candles. My products are created with YOU in mind, and I hope you love them as much as I do! -Monique
